Prior Family Cemetery

Survey by Michael Robbins & Jason Smith Dec 2003. Verified by Demetrius Byers August 12, 2005. Volunteers with PCCPC

Directions: From Cedartown take West Ave. (Hwy 278 west) to Prior Station Road. Turn right onto Prior Station Road. Stay on this road for about 7 miles. A milk dairy will be in a sharp curve with barn on left. Past the house on right will be the cemetery. Most summers the field is planted in corn and cemetery is hard to see.

Since PCCPC Volunteers cleaned up the cemetery in 2003, the fence around the cemetery has come down and cows have invaded the cemetery. PCCPC is trying to find a way to repair the fence, but with limited funds, it is hard. Once the fence is repaired, then we can re-set the tombstones that have fallen over.
