Cottonhill Cemetery - B
AKA Shady Grove Cemetery
Survey by Freddie Thompson & Michael Robbins 2005. Has NOT been verified by Volunteers with PCCPC
Directions: From Rockmart take Hwy 101. Go past Aragon. At Prospect Road, turn to the left. The cemetery is on the right, just before you get to the rail road tracks. (The cemetery is hard to see because it is badly overgrown.)
[The name of the unidentified graves on Prospect Rd. in Aragon 200 yards from the RR tracks is COTTONHILL. There was a church right there many years ago, the foundation can still be seen if you know where to look. It was named after the road that it was on. Prospect was not always the name of that road. From Long Station to Cashtown Rd was all separated and the short road from Cashtown to Hwy 101 was named Cottonwood Rd. - Jeff Strange]

[Not sure if the name of the cemetery is Cottonhill Cemetery or Shady Grove Cemetery. The road was called Cottonhill or Cottonwood, but not sure if the church had the same name. Jason Edwards sent in the following info about burials in this cemetery. - PCCPC]

There may be other graves in this cemetery, but due to the underbrush, it is hard to tell.
