Directions: This cemetery is located North East of Cedartown, Georgia in a valley that was named for an Indian by the name of Chief Collard. He was on the Trail of Tears and died in Oklahoma and buried there. Travel east toward city limits and turn left on Collard Valley Road (S1031) and go approximately two miles crossing Lake Creak stream until you come to a field road and turn right. Collard Valley Baptist Church (White) is on road to the left. This field road winds through the field - go approximately 1 mile and behind a grove of pine trees is the cemetery. There are numerous unknown graves and at one time it was used by white people. There is a hugh area in the ceneter (could be a place where burial were at one time. There are unmarked graves with only indentions.
